Invitation from Chair of the Scientific Committee
Abstracts are invited for both oral and poster presentations for the Australian Earth Sciences Convention 2010, with electronic submission up to 29 January 2010. All abstracts must be prepared according to the guidelines. Abstracts must be formatted according to the template and submitted through the online submissions area.

Themes
The program for the AESC2010 will be organised through a set of themes, with sessions running through the course of the meeting. The program will be arranged to minimise clashes between themes.
- Dynamic Earth: from crust to core
- Earth’s Environments: past, present and future
- Life and the Solar System
- Geoscience in the Service of Society
- Resource Security: supporting our nation
Abstracts should be submitted to the themes and will be organised by the Program Committee into appropriate oral and poster sessions.
There will be an additional strand to accommodate single Topical symposia which are anticipated to include sessions on Paleomagnetism and AuScope.
Abstracts must be submitted online through the online submission area.
